Among its transformative initiatives, the Social Compliance Program emerges as a trailblazer in advancing workplace standards, with a strategic focus on the Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector, High Schools and Universities— critical pillars of Bangladesh's economic framework.

As an Intern, I :

  • Acted as a resource person for team members, providing support in communications, writing, planning, and budgeting tasks.
  • Assisted trainers during field visits to RMG factories, Schools and Universities training sessions, ensuring smooth execution of programs.
  • Compiled and developed comprehensive factory, school & university visit reports post-training sessions to document insights and outcomes.
  • Contributed to the design and development of safeguarding training materials, tailoring them to align with program objectives.

As part of BRAC University’s commitment to fostering innovation and social responsibility, I serve as the Head of the Thought Leadership Department at the Social Impact Lab. In this capacity, I:

  • Lead efforts to outline and proofread research reports, project proposals, and budget proposals for initiatives under the School of General Education, ensuring precision and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Spearheaded the successful organization of 15+ events in targeted communities, collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners to drive impactful outcomes and achieve key project objectives.

Media and Journalism Experience, I :

  • Conducted interviews and facilitated training workshops on ethical journalism, fostering awareness and professionalism within the field.
  • Authored and published news articles, Op-eds, and event coverages, demonstrating expertise in the three key dimensions of journalism: administrative, creative, and content writing.
  • Integrated narrative techniques with analytical findings to produce 12 articles that surpassed editorial targets, driving an increase in site traffic by 30% and fostering higher audience loyalty.

  • Awarded into the OSUN Get Engaged Conference for successfully organized events, advocacy programs, research and cleaning efforts to the community (Banani Lake & Korail Slums).
  • Steered initiatives that planted 200+ trees, provided food for 20,000+ flood-affected families, empowered 30+ Women entrepreneurs, and conducted awareness sessions for 800+ participants in Korail.
